Job Description

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll have the opportunity to work from home, connecting with families and schools participating in the scholarship program. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to incoming calls related to student inquiries, scholarship applications, and funding status
  • Ensuring that all questions are answered, callers are satisfied, and students are registered
  • Providing empathetic, personable, and compassionate support during sometimes difficult or tense situations
  • Utilizing strong communication and problem-solving skills to deliver an exceptional customer service experience
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve complex issues and improve processes

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • At least one year of customer service or call center experience
  • English proficiency (a language assessment will be required)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
  • The ability to remain empathetic, personable, and compassionate during challenging situations
  • Self-motivation, detail-orientation, and the ability to multitask
  • Accurate typing and keyboard skills; comfort with PC/internet navigation

Technical Requirements

To work from home, you'll need:

  • Wired internet connectivity with internet speeds of 2 Mbps upload and 10 Mbps download
  • A secure, quiet, distraction-free workspace
  • A reliable computer and necessary software

Additional Requirements

* Must be a resident of Canada and authorized to work in Canada

  • Must be able to pass a background check and language assessment
