Key Responsibilities
As a Temporary Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will be responsible for:
- Modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including greeting customers, offering assistance, and resolving issues in a fair, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
- Engaging customers and patients by offering assistance with products and services, resolving customer issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items.
- Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested; processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
- Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records.
- Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
- Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products).
- Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise.
- Assisting with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures.
- Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
- Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
- Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful as a Temporary Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will need:

- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
