As a Data Entry and Claims Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for:- Supporting and promoting change management and/or departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned areas of responsibility.
- Meeting or exceeding departmental quality and service standards.
- Delivering routine work independently, in accordance with established procedures and guidelines, in a timely manner and meeting deadlines appropriately.
- Making routine & non-routine decisions, applying limited but increasingly more discretion within role except for matters of significance which affect the business as a whole or a significant part of it, in accordance with established procedures & guidelines.
- Determining eligibility and confirming effective dates for benefit elections based on contractual guidelines.
- Leveraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills to create and modify member level records across multiple products, applications, platforms.
- Maintaining accurate member records by verifying dates, names, salary figures, and other information provided by groups.
- Applying policy provisions for effective dates, evidence of insurability and other pertinent information to determine necessary changes.
- Considering the customer experience in all actions and recognizing what needs to be done to meet customer needs, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness on system work independently.
