Job Summary

As a remote data entry specialist, you'll be responsible for providing engineering support to the Fleet Engineering Team within the Technical Operations Division at blithequark. This team is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving operational issues on transport category aircraft, and you'll play a critical role in helping us achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Stay Informed of Day-to-Day Operations: You'll be responsible for staying up-to-date on day-to-day airline operations, including field of responsibility, and assessing daily priorities in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives.

• Investigate Aircraft/Component Problems: You'll investigate aircraft/component problems that may cause delays or cancellations, substantial expenditures in manpower or materials, or interruptions in maintenance operations, and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Provide Engineering Support: You'll provide engineering support as required for disposition of discrepant conditions affecting aircraft or components in order to restore serviceable status.
• Respond to Requests from Maintenance and Other Departments: You'll respond to requests from Maintenance and other airline departments when technical assistance is required to support projects or resolve problems.
• Develop Action Plans for Fleet/Multi-Fleet and/or Component Engineering Projects: You'll develop action plans for fleet/multi-fleet and/or component engineering projects and pursue final dispositions according to assessed priorities.
• Coordinate with Other Departments: You'll coordinate with other airline departments, as required, to provide for effective and efficient implementation of engineering dispositions.
• Prepare Engineering Documents: You'll prepare engineering documents to implement technical dispositions by providing customized procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections or other maintenance actions which provide benefits in accordance with airline/departmental objectives and management directives.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field: You'll need a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, such as computer science, mathematics, or physics.

• 2+ Years of Experience in Engineering or a related field: You'll need at least 2 years of experience in engineering or a related field, with a focus on data entry, project management, and technical support.
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: You'll need strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex problems and develop effective solutions.
