Job Summary

As a Business Analyst at blithequark, you'll play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement through data-driven insights. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategic solutions that drive results. With a strong focus on data analysis, business acumen, and communication skills, you'll be the go-to expert for data-driven insights and recommendations that inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct pre-and post-examination of client programs, vital tasks, new product launches, operational changes, and marketing initiatives to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth

• Investigate the execution of different pilot projects while following a testing methodology (e.g., A/B Testing)
• Maintain and update required tools and systems based on business needs, such as BPM or Course Planning models
• Identify errors, irregularities, and gaps in reporting and processes and provide solutions
• Proactively search for patterns and trends in data to identify areas for improvement or opportunities for growth
• Support the development and improvement of blithequark's tools and systems to drive financial targets and improve value chain capabilities
• Model business scenarios based on analyzed data and business needs/requirements
• Provide ad-hoc analyses and reporting as needed, and develop strategic recommendations for business leaders
• Perform other related and assigned duties

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, or Operations, with a focus on analysis, modeling, or measurement
• Experience in management consulting or design thinking highly preferred
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLookups, and data modeling
• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, including data visualization using tools like Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
• Proficiency in other MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Visio
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of Financial and Operating Statements
• Ability to balance long-term and short-term needs, managing multiple complex projects and priorities
• Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Strong change management skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of projects and tasks
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Preferred Qualifications

* Advanced Excel skills, including Visual Basic, macros, and SQL

• Experience with statistical analysis using tools like R or similar software
• Knowledge of data mining and sales reporting tools, such as Edge Minder or similar software
• Familiarity with SharePoint and other collaboration tools
• Functional understanding of sales, delivery, warehouse, and production processes
• Project management or support experience
