Job Overview

As an Experienced Sales and Customer Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and customer service representatives to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive sales growth. Your passion for customer service, leadership skills, and ability to analyze data will drive our sales floor to new heights. You will be the face of blithequark, ensuring that every customer interaction is memorable and exceeds their expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Build a high-performing team of sales associates and customer service representatives who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

  • Exceed sales goals by leading blithequark's initiatives through coaching, recognition, and optimizing productivity and efficiency.
  • Review and utilize sales and rewards data to recognize colleagues and develop strategies to improve results.
  • Manage selling support activities, including stockroom, signing, equipment, and merchandising.
  • Support other operational areas such as OMNI, Style, and Asset Protection.
  • Conduct ongoing talent analysis of colleagues and establish career progression plans to retain top talent and reduce turnover.
  • Actively fill open positions, prioritizing internal colleagues in Customer Experience, Commission, and Specialized Selling areas.
  • Interview, hire, train, coach, develop, coordinate, evaluate, and discipline direct and indirect reports; manage the team to meet or exceed performance and behavioral expectations; address complaints and resolve problems with colleagues.
  • Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
  • Work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.

  • Proven leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review and utilize sales and rewards data to recognize colleagues and develop improvement strategies.
  • Experience managing selling support activities, including stockroom, signing, equipment, and merchandising.
  • Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail management, with a focus on sales and customer service.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with colleagues, customers, and communities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite, computers, and handheld devices.
  • Experience with conflict resolution and talent development.
