What You'll Be Doing

As a Live Chat Operator, you'll be working remotely from the comfort of your own home, providing support to our clients' customers via live chat, email, and electronic message boards. Your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with product selection, identification, and troubleshooting, ensuring that they receive the best possible experience. You'll be working independently, but with the support of a chat supervisor who's always available to assist you with any queries you may encounter.

Key Responsibilities:

* Respond to customer messages promptly and professionally via live chat, email, and electronic message boards

  • Provide accurate and helpful information to customers, resolving their queries and issues efficiently
  • Follow provided steps and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in your work
  • Work independently, with minimal supervision, to manage your workload and meet productivity targets
  • Collaborate with chat supervisors and other team members to share knowledge and best practices
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications:

* Basic English skills, with excellent communication and writing abilities

  • Reliable internet connectivity and a device capable of accessing social media and website chat functions (phone, tablet, or laptop)
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, to manage your workload and meet productivity targets
  • Minimum availability of 5 hours per week, with flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in customer service or a related field

  • Familiarity with live chat software and electronic message boards
  • Strong typing skills, with the ability to type accurately and efficiently
