The Role

As an Experienced Part-Time Airbnb Host Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing guest interactions and resolving disputes through phone calls, chats, and emails
  • Claim mediation: investigating and resolving claims related to guest behavior, property damage, and other issues
  • Collaborating with our team to develop and implement effective solutions to improve guest satisfaction and reduce claims
  • Providing exceptional customer service to our clients and their guests
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on claims and guest interactions
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on Airbnb policies and procedures

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working for Airbnb or an Airbnb BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) company
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency in using Airbnb's customer service platform and other relevant tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the short-term rental industry

  • Knowledge of Airbnb's policies and procedures
  • Experience with claim mediation and dispute resolution
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Proficiency in multiple languages (a plus)
