As a key member of the Data Innovation Group within the Data Innovation Division, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cutting-edge IT infrastructure solutions that drive business growth and efficiency. With a focus on cloud-based technologies and data center operations, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

What You'll Do

* Develop a deep understanding of server load balancing, WAS clustering, and other application scaling concepts to design and implement high-performance IT infrastructure solutions.

• Investigate and resolve middleware issues across development, testing, and production environments to ensure seamless system operation.
• Proactively monitor and manage local and remote data center operations, including UPSs, air conditioning, power, and security systems, to ensure optimal system performance and uptime.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing among team members to drive innovation and excellence.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest IT infrastructure trends and best practices, identifying opportunities for improvement and suggesting innovative solutions to enhance our systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, and escalating complex problems to ensure timely resolution.
• Oversee and maintain Windows Dynamic Registry, including DNS and Group Policies, to ensure seamless system operation.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members as needed, helping to develop their skills and expertise.

What You'll Need for Success

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience and training.

• 3+ years of experience as a systems engineer or manager in a large-scale IT environment.
• Strong understanding of IT business operations, system requirements, and processes.
• Proven expertise in the following areas:

+ Server Organization: Linux (RHEL/CentOS 7/8) and Windows (2012/2016) + Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Python, Bash, and PowerShell + Cloud Innovations: Design, development, and deployment of cloud-native applications (Microsoft Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud) + DevOps: CI/CD, GitHub, Artifactory, or Jenkins + Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry + Server and Application Monitoring: Dynatrace, LogDNA, and SysDig

• Ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions or workarounds.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
