Who We Need

We're looking for a Customer Service Representative to provide exceptional support to our Review Team, including:

  • Interacting with beneficiaries and providers via the helpline
  • Creating, formatting, and proofreading letters
  • Maintaining timeliness and accuracy in all correspondence
  • Making decisions on complex appeals, requiring strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Utilizing internal quality control tools to assess individual work and team processes

What You'll Do

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:

  • Typing and merging correspondence
  • Proofreading for clarity and accuracy
  • Printing and mailing correspondence
  • Communicating verbally and in writing with external customers
  • Fostering effective working relationships between arenaflex's internal and external customers
  • Assisting with and participating in Review Team meetings to identify areas for improvement
  • Answering the Beneficiary Helpline and determining how to best assist callers
  • Providing intake for all appeals received by arenaflex
  • Proficiently using internal quality control tools to assess individual work and team processes

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

High school diploma or equivalent

Post-high school business courses

(helpful but not required)

Medical terminology

(desired but not required)

Excellent verbal communication skills

, with a courteous and patient demeanor

Good grammar, punctuation, spelling, hyphenation, and written communications skills

Customer-focused, results-oriented

, and capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers

General knowledge of a PC-based computer system

Experience

We're looking for candidates with:

Two to three years

of clerical experience, including word processing, various filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities

Prior work in a healthcare setting

or medical terminology (recommended but not required)

Previous data entry or other clerical experience

(a plus)

Mental and Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Regularly sitting for prolonged periods
  • Keying and/or controlling objects
  • Interacting extensively with internal and external customers
  • Occasionally lifting and/or moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds
  • Occasional travel within the state
