Intern, Mobile Software Engineer - Summer 2026
Capital One is committed to changing banking for good and building relationships by making credit accessible. As a Mobile Software Engineer intern, you will join the Capital One Travel team to develop mobile features for iOS and Android platforms, enhancing the customer travel booking experience.
Responsibilities
- Work as part of a dynamic team throughout the software development life cycle
- Develop code to meet story acceptance criteria
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure high-level quality output
- Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to meet quality, and time to market imperatives
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, design and brainstorming sessions
- Collaborate with Product and Design partners to implement enhancements or new applications
- Learn and build iOS/Android features on the job
- Have fun with the team!
Skills
- Will obtain a Bachelor's degree or higher from August 2026 or later
- Familiarity with iOS or Android application development, specifically with Swift or Kotlin
- Good communication, presentation, and writing skills
- Good understanding of testing fundamentals
- Able to work within a team setting and actively participate and collaborate in team discussions

- Experience with SwiftUI or JetPack Compose
