Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at arenaflex. As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based data pipeline, ensuring that our data is accurate, reliable, and secure. You'll work closely with our data scientists, analysts, and engineers to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business decisions and create new opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, including:
- Designing and developing cloud-based data pipelines using technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS
- Developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources
- Creating and maintaining data sets, tables, and views to support data analysis and science
- Developing and implementing data quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and reliability
- Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data-driven solutions
- Working with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that drive business decisions and create new opportunities for growth
Essential Qualifications
To be successful as a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in ELT/ETL data pipeline development and support
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience working with Snowflake and PostgreSQL
- Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS and Azure
- Experience with source control systems such as GitLab and GitHub
- Experience with Docker and containerization
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:
- Experience working with large datasets and big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
- Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure
