Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming calls and assisting callers with inquiries related to payment or policy status, as well as correspondence received from the FAIR Plan
  • Providing assistance to customers and brokers at the front desk and handling agency licensing transactions, as applicable
  • Displaying a high level of courtesy and professionalism in providing satisfactory responses to customers or brokers
  • Researching and resolving customer or broker questions and problems in a timely and efficient manner
  • Handling agency licensing tasks, such as registering new brokers, address changes, and agency mergers
  • Following up with other departments to resolve problem files and ensuring seamless communication
  • Inputting data in a desktop database for all incoming calls and maintaining accurate records
  • Assisting customers at the front desk when necessary and providing exceptional service
  • Distributing faxes and other correspondence to the department in a timely and efficient manner
  • Facilitating the processing of evidence of insurance requests as required
  • Participating in individual and group training designed to improve service and stay up-to-date on industry developments
  • Performing additional duties or special projects as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma and basic computer skills
  • 1 year of insurance experience (coverage knowledge) and customer service/call center experience
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong emphasis on phone skills
  • Good interpersonal skills, both internal and external, and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • The ability to perform slightly varied moderately complex tasks with minimal supervision
  • Sound decision-making skills and the ability to exercise occasional judgment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred, but not required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry, particularly in customer service or call center environments
  • Proficiency in desktop databases and software applications
  • Experience with agency licensing tasks and procedures
