Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Performance Analyst to join our DTOA team, where you'll be responsible for providing analytical support to our Contact Centers and pre-arrival Walt Disney World Commerce. As a Performance Analyst, you'll work closely with our team to develop and implement data-driven insights that inform business decisions and drive growth. You'll be responsible for conducting forecasting, root-cause analysis, and other analytical tasks to identify areas for improvement and optimize our business operations.
Key Responsibilities
As a Performance Analyst on our DTOA team, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:
- Performance Analytics and Forecasting: Conduct forecasting, advert hoc modeling, and deep-dive analysis to inform business decisions and drive growth. Monitor agent performance, proactively identify areas that require further research, and develop personalized analyses from start to finish.
- Measurement and Analytics: Leverage multiple reporting tools and databases (Tableau, Snowflake, Hadoop, Dataiku, Excel, etc.) to conduct analyses and build/preserve reports. Monitor data quality and accuracy, and collaborate with team members, leaders, and business partners to respond to summary business questions with sound quantitative analyses and reproducible results.
- Data Storytelling: Build shows and visualizations to inform compelling stories with data. Present and discuss findings, insights, and recommendations to Senior Leadership and business partners.
- Process Improvement: Create, maintain, audit, and continuously optimize reports and documents used to support various programs. Execute programs critical to the business operation under strict timelines.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have the following essential qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering) or a related field.
- 2+ Years of Experience: 2+ years of quantitative, non-internship experience in an analytical role.
- Forecasting Experience: Familiarity with forecasting, including conventional statistical techniques and/or machine learning or deep learning techniques.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and visual), with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and priorities.
- SQL and R/Python: Experience with SQL and R or Python programming languages.
Nice-to-Haves
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Statistical Inference: Solid knowledge of statistical inference and proven experience in applying statistical rigor to analyses.
- Data Visualization: Knowledge of data visualization best practices and experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI.
- SQL and R/Python: Excellent SQL skills and fluency in R or Python programming languages.
- Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners, clients, and team members.
- Graduate Degree: A graduate degree in a quantitative field or a related field, or 4+ years of experience in analytics or data science.
