About the Role
We're seeking a talented ESL Teacher to work part-time, remotely, and become an integral part of our online education team. As a contractor, you'll enjoy the flexibility of working from home and a schedule that fits your lifestyle. Key Responsibilities: Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development: Design and deliver engaging, effective lessons that cater to the needs of adult language learners, focusing on daily communication and curriculum development. Creating a Welcoming Learning Environment: Foster a warm, inclusive, and supportive online classroom atmosphere that encourages students to learn and grow. Student Progress Monitoring and Guidance: Track students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and guide them towards achieving their learning goals. Communication and Professionalism: Communicate efficiently, effectively, and professionally with students, colleagues, and management, adhering to established company processes and procedures. Technical Requirements: Utilize high-speed internet, HD webcam, and Zoom to deliver online classes, ensuring a seamless and interactive learning experience. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: Hold a Bachelor's degree in any field. Language Teaching Certification: Possess a certificate or degree in language teaching, education, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field. English Language Proficiency: Demonstrate a good verbal and written command of English. Teaching Experience: Have a minimum of three years of experience teaching ESL to adult learners. Criminal Record: Possess a clean criminal record. Technical Requirements: Have a high-speed internet connection, HD webcam, and be proficient in Zoom. Preferred Qualifications: Online Teaching Experience: Prior experience in online teaching is highly desirable. Fun and Interactive Tutoring Techniques: Ability to use innovative and engaging tutoring methods to enhance the learning experience. Punctuality and Reliability: Demonstrate excellent time management skills and a commitment to punctuality.
