Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Medical Customer Service Representative to join our remote team in Dallas, TX. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering inbound calls and making outbound calls to patients and healthcare providers
  • Providing exceptional customer service and empathy, resolving medical billing and coverage issues
  • Utilizing computer skills for data entry and gathering patient information
  • Working with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction

Key Responsibilities

* Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls to patients and healthcare providers

  • Provide good customer service and empathy, resolving medical billing and coverage issues
  • Using computer skills for data entry and gathering patient information
  • Gathering and reviewing patient billing and medical information
  • Working with carriers to ensure coverage of medication on behalf of the patient
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and improve customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

* At least 1 year of recent Call Center experience (no exceptions)

  • Active internet already installed and the ability to work from home
  • Ability to multi-task and use dual monitors
  • Great work attitude and willingness to help others
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry

  • Strong knowledge of medical billing and coverage policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Experience with CRM software and data entry systems
