Job Summary:

As an IT Summer Undergraduate Intern in our Operations Research and Data Science team, you'll play a vital role in helping us drive business success through data-driven insights and innovative solutions. You'll work closely with our experienced professionals to analyze complex data sets, develop predictive models, and provide actionable recommendations to drive business growth. Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct data analysis and exploration to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions

• Develop and implement predictive models using Python and SQL to forecast customer behavior and optimize business processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement data-driven initiatives
• Work independently to analyze complex data sets, identify areas for improvement, and develop recommendations for business leaders
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including business leaders and IT teams
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and improvement

What You'll Need to Succeed:

* Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Information Analysis/Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

• 3.0 GPA or higher and completion of at least 2 years in a school program
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in data analysis and visualization
• Strong logical, leadership, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Emphasis on safety, security, and well-being of self and others
• Interest in tackling complex problems and contributing to the development of innovative solutions
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
