Key Responsibilities

  • Provide premium service and build relationships with customers through effective live chat, email, social media, and phone correspondence, with a focus on chat queue management (80% of the day) and phone calls (20% of the day)
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, including discussions on logistics, returns, refunds, product questions, and warranty questions
  • Assist customers with product information, website navigation, and general questions, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience
  • Utilize basic Microsoft Office programs, such as Outlook and Word, to manage customer interactions and maintain accurate records
  • Maintain open availability for any 40-hour shift between 6am-5pm, Monday-Sunday, to ensure adequate coverage and support for our customers

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Previous customer service experience, with a proven track record of providing exceptional service and resolving customer issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers through various channels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Word, with the ability to navigate computer systems while on the phone with customers
  • A reliable, hardwired internet connection, with a minimum speed of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
  • A quiet, dedicated workspace, free from distractions and interruptions

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other customer service tools
  • Knowledge of logistics, shipping, and product returns, with the ability to effectively communicate this information to customers
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with customers in multiple languages
