Primary Duties & Responsibilities
As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:
- Heavy phone contact with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties to provide exceptional customer service and support
- Processing policyholder requests from correspondence, phone calls, and emails in a timely and efficient manner
- Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintaining department standards for number of calls, average handle time, and time management to ensure optimal performance
- Providing excellent communication, both written and oral, and organization skills to effectively resolve customer inquiries and issues
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Demonstrating strong decision-making skills with the ability to analyze situations and make logical conclusions
- Working in a fast-paced environment with high stress levels, requiring calm and professional demeanor
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred
- At least one year of office experience, preferably in a customer service or telecommunications role
- Life and Health insurance background and knowledge of insurance operations desired
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Excellent alpha and number recognition skills, as well as demonstrated mathematical abilities
- Basic PC skills and ability to type at least 30WPM
- Reliable and predictable attendance, with the ability to work Full-Time and/or Part-Time based on the specific position
Physical Requirements
As a remote work-from-home opportunity, you'll need to:
- Have a dedicated home office or quiet space to work in, free from distractions and interruptions
- Possess a smartphone and high-speed internet (20mbps upload) to ensure seamless communication and connectivity
- Have a fire extinguisher in your home, as safety is a top priority at arenaflex
- Be able to work 40-hour workweek, with flexibility to adjust to meet business needs
