Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Clerk at arenaflex, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Answering phones and greeting customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Entering data into our database systems with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Entering data provided directly by customers, ensuring that all information is up-to-date and accurate
  • Verifying data against original documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Retrieving data from database or electronic files as requested by colleagues and management
  • Sorting and organizing paperwork after data entry to ensure that it is not lost and is archived
  • Maintaining our filing system, ensuring that all documents are easily accessible and up-to-date
  • Performing other duties as required to support the smooth operation of our team

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a data entry clerk or receptionist, with a strong understanding of data entry processes and procedures
  • Accurate typing skills, with the ability to type at least 40 words per minute
  • Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet tools, including MS Office Word and Excel
  • Working knowledge of office equipment, including printers, scanners, and photocopiers
  • Basic knowledge of databases and data management systems
  • Good command of English, both oral and written, and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment
