Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Pharmacy Customer Service Representative to join our Mobile, AL office on a part-time, weekend schedule. This role offers the flexibility of remote work from home on weekends, allowing you to balance your work and personal life. As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy network, providing exceptional service to our clients, and supporting the needs of our injured workers.

Key Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing, inputting, and supporting claimant profiles in our pharmacy network
  • Assisting pharmacies in the adjudication of claimant medications
  • Coordinating and liaising with client adjusters, pharmacies, and claimants to ensure accurate medication benefits assignment in multiple systems
  • Supporting client needs on requirements for claimant medications with reporting and data
  • Managing and updating client and claimant information in multiple systems
  • Adjusting to changing processes and needs of various clients
  • Answering questions from claimants, adjusters, and pharmacies on topics related to claimant medications
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 years of related customer service or telephonic experience and/or training
  • Excellent written grammatical skills, with the ability to read and interpret documents such as letters and reports
  • Exceptional understanding of proper telephone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Ability to edit, grammar, and spelling with precision
  • Proficiency in the use of computers, multiple software systems, and learning of new programs
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to handle and manage significant email and phone communications

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:

  • Familiarity with the Workers Compensation industry and benefit management
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
