As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of prescription medications to those who need them most.

Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced customer service professional to join our team on a part-time, weekend schedule. As a Pharmacy Customer Service Representative, you'll work closely with our pharmacy network, client adjusters, and claimants to ensure accurate and efficient medication benefits assignment. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and technical skills, as well as the ability to adapt to changing processes and priorities.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepares, inputs, and supports claimant profiles in our pharmacy network

  • Assists pharmacies in the adjudication of claimant medications
  • Coordinates and liaises with client adjusters, pharmacies, and claimants to ensure accurate medication benefits assignment
  • Supports client needs on requirements for claimant medications with reporting and data
  • Manages and updates client and claimant information in multiple systems
  • Answers questions from claimants, adjusters, and pharmacies on topics related to claimant medications
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

* 3+ years of related customer service or telephonic experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Familiarity with and experience working as part of a dedicated team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, such as letters and reports
  • Strong understanding of proper telephone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Exceptional editing, grammar, and spelling skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems quickly

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting

  • Knowledge of Workers Compensation benefit management or related industries
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) or similar systems
  • Certification in customer service or a related field

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems quickly
