Job Responsibilities:

As a Customer Service Representative III, you'll be responsible for:

  • Handling Phone Inquiries: Efficiently and professionally respond to phone inquiries regarding membership benefits, pricing, and processing, ensuring accurate and timely resolutions.
  • Outbound Calling: Participate in outbound calling campaigns for AMA Membership and Health Solutions programs, achieving specific service goals and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Digital Support: Provide digital support for AMA website access, including registration assistance, password resets, and troubleshooting, ensuring seamless online experiences for our members.
  • Service Inquiries: Respond to service inquiries about AMA products, including order status, billing, and fulfillment issues, providing accurate and timely resolutions.
  • Credentialing and Data Validation: Validate physician identity and update contact and demographic data for credentialing products, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

What We're Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Minimum 3 Years of Experience: In customer service or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences and resolving complex issues.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Multitasking and Problem-Solving: Ability to handle multiple inquiries simultaneously, providing accurate information efficiently and resolving complex issues with ease.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and precision in all interactions and tasks.
  • Digital Literacy: Proficiency with digital tools and platforms, including web navigation, to provide seamless online experiences for our members.

How to Stand Out:

  • Non-Profit or Healthcare Experience: Previous experience working in a non-profit or healthcare-related organization, with a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges.
  • AMA Product Familiarity: Familiarity with AMA products and services, including membership benefits and credentialing processes.
  • Membership Organization Experience: Previous experience working with membership organizations or associations, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Credentialing Knowledge: Knowledge of credentialing processes and requirements, with the ability to provide accurate and timely resolutions.
  • Bilingual Skills: Bilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
