About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our Data Science and Engineering team at arenaflex. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing large-scale data engineering solutions that drive business growth, improve customer experiences, and enhance our competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Data Scientists, Data Analysts, and Product Managers, to design and develop data-driven solutions that meet business requirements and drive strategic initiatives.

• Develop and maintain large-scale data engineering pipelines, including ETL processes, data warehousing, and data lakes, using cloud-based technologies such as AWS, Hadoop, and Snowflake.
• Design and implement data models, data governance, and data quality frameworks to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Work with data architects to design and implement data warehousing and data lake solutions that support business intelligence, reporting, and analytics.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines, including data ingestion, processing, and delivery, using technologies such as Apache Beam, Apache Spark, and Apache Flink.
• Collaborate with data scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models, including data preparation, feature engineering, and model deployment.
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, to ensure rapid iteration and delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including data dictionaries, data lineage, and data quality metrics, to ensure data transparency and accountability.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, Scala, and SQL.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, including AWS, Hadoop, and Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and data governance principles.
• Experience with data integration toolsets, including Apache Beam, Apache Spark, and Apache Flink.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data architecture, and data quality principles.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related field.
• Experience with big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, and Flink.
• Strong understanding of machine learning principles and experience with model deployment.
• Experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau, Power BI, and D3.js.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance principles.
