The Role

As a data entry clerk at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our company's databases. You will be responsible for collecting and entering data from various sources, including customer and account information, into our databases in a timely and accurate manner. This will involve working closely with employees and customers to collect information, identifying and correcting errors, and swiftly bringing them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary.

Responsibilities

The following are the key responsibilities of the data entry clerk position:

  • Maintains database by entering new and updated customer and account information in a timely and accurate manner
  • Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
  • Establishes entry priorities to ensure efficient and effective data entry
  • Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies
  • Resolves deficiencies by using standard procedures
  • Identifies and corrects errors, and swiftly brings them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary
  • Collaborates with employees and customers to collect information and ensure data accuracy
  • Maintains confidentiality and adheres to data security protocols

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in data entry or a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems quickly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with data entry software and systems
  • Knowledge of database management and data analysis
