Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk to join our team and help us streamline our driver onboarding process. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for reviewing applications, conducting virtual vehicle safety inspections, and communicating with delivery professionals via text, chat, and email. If you're a self-motivated, tech-savvy individual with excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

As a Driver Onboarding Specialist/Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Reviewing applications and insurance and vehicle registration documents for accuracy and eligibility
  • Conducting virtual vehicle safety inspections with qualified driver-applicants (training provided)
  • Communicating with delivery professionals via text, chat, and email about the status of their applications
  • Ordering driver applicants' pre-employment background checks using company software
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of driver applications and onboarding status
  • Providing exceptional customer service to delivery professionals and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner

Experience

While we don't require any specific experience, we're looking for candidates with a strong background in data entry, human resources, customer service, or a related field. If you have experience working with gig app workers or in a similar role, that's a definite plus! We're also looking for candidates with an Associate's degree or above, although it's not required.

To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable with smartphone applications and web-based applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $25,000 to $35,000 annually, based on the candidate's skills, education, and experience. This role is also eligible for additional benefits, including:

Locations

We're based in San Diego, CA, but we're open to remote candidates from anywhere in the USA. If you're interested in working from home, you must have access to a reliable internet connection and a working computer.
