Primary Responsibilities

As a Bilingual and Non-Bilingual Customer Service Representative I, you'll be responsible for:

  • Assisting customers via phone or in person, providing timely and friendly support to resolve their queries and concerns
  • Reviewing confidential tax information while maintaining the highest level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Providing account maintenance according to tax laws and policies, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Offering knowledgeable and accurate information to customers regarding online self-service functions through the Georgia Tax Center
  • Utilizing technology to provide advanced support and resolve complex issues
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer concerns

Minimum Entry Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED

  • Six months of call center experience handling customer inquiries, complaints, and providing information

Essential Qualifications

* Customer Service: Demonstrated ability to address customer issues in a professional and respectful manner, prioritizing customer satisfaction and business needs

  • Results Orientation: Proven ability to identify and implement effective solutions to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Good Judgment & Decision Making: Ability to evaluate complex situations, considering potential consequences, and make informed decisions
  • Accountability: Commitment to taking ownership of actions, maintaining honesty and integrity, and upholding organizational values
  • Teamwork & Cooperation: Proven ability to foster a positive team atmosphere, respect colleagues, and work collaboratively with leadership
  • Analytical Ability: Demonstrated ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in high-volume Contact Service environments

  • Bilingual in Spanish or second language, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines

Requirements

* Must pass a comprehensive background check

  • Must obtain a Tax Clearance Letter stating that you do not owe any state taxes
  • Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision

Compensation and Benefits

* Competitive hourly rate: $15.00 per hour (non-bilingual) / $17.00 per hour (bilingual in Spanish or second language)
