Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our Transportation Analytics crew, where you'll play a critical role in analyzing large datasets, developing data visualizations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business decisions. Responsibilities

As a Data Analyst at arenaflex, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Work with large, messy, disparate datasets: Develop ad-hoc analyses to inform business decisions, create ETLs or scripts to centralize data, and leverage scripting languages to automate reporting tasks.
• Develop data visualizations: Create impactful Tableau dashboards to display and quantify the effects of changes and business challenges.
• Engage with cross-functional teams: Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Product groups to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and latency across multiple operations and systems.
• Analyze stakeholder needs: Partner with stakeholders to share relevant information, identify business problems, and develop solutions.
• Document and share knowledge: Write documentation, share expertise with colleagues, and mentor junior team members to become a Subject Matter Expert.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree: In a relevant field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Business Administration.

• Excellent SQL Skills: 2-4 years of experience with SQL, with a strong understanding of data modeling, querying, and optimization.
• Tableau Experience: 1-2 years of experience with Tableau, with a focus on data visualization, dashboard development, and storytelling.
• Business Operations Fluency: Strong understanding of business operations, supply chain management, and transportation experience.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to work cross-functionally, communicate complex ideas, and build credibility with stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

* Advanced SQL and Tableau Experience: 4+ years of experience with SQL and Tableau, with a focus on advanced data modeling, querying, and visualization.

• E-commerce Operations or Parcel Service Experience: Experience working in e-commerce operations or parcel service operations, with a focus on data analysis and business decision-making.
• Scripting Language Experience: Experience with Python or other scripting languages, with a focus on automation and reporting tasks.
• Data Manipulation Tools: Experience with data manipulation tools such as Knime, Alteryx, R, Tableau Prep, etc.
