Job Summary

As a Part-time Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate information about products and services, and capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review. You will work closely with our team to develop and maintain a knowledge base of our ever-evolving products and services, and summarize interactions based on customer needs for client review.

Responsibilities

* Handle a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, responding to questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner

  • Provide accurate information about products and services via online chat, ensuring that customers have a positive and informative experience
  • Narrow down on appointment information to schedule appointments, ensuring that customers are able to book appointments with our dealer clients
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of our ever-evolving products and services, staying up-to-date on the latest features and benefits
  • Capture customer contact information for lead generation and client review, helping our dealer clients to generate revenue from their website traffic
  • Summarize interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing valuable insights and feedback to our dealer clients
  • Collaborate with our team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the customer experience

Qualifications

* Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry is preferred but not necessary

  • Must be able to type at least 35 WPM, 40 and above is preferred
  • Have a handle on basic internet and window-based computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Strong ability to multitask, with experience in a fast-paced environment a plus
  • Positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment, with a willingness to learn and grow with our team
  • Gaming experience is preferred, but not required

Requirements

* Able to attend 4 weeks of training, Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 10:00am-6:30pm CST

  • Must be able to work 5-hour time blocks daily after completing training
  • Must be able to type at least 35 WPM, 40 and above is preferred
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment
  • Gaming experience is preferred
