Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines and architectures that support our business growth and customer needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data science, engineering, and product management, to ensure that our data solutions meet the highest standards of quality, scalability, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and develop large-scale data pipelines and architectures that support business growth and customer needs
- Collaborate with data science, engineering, and product management teams to ensure that data solutions meet the highest standards of quality, scalability, and reliability
- Develop and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data set frameworks, and tools for continuous and batch processing
- Work with data science teams to integrate data and models into automated processes
- Develop and maintain data stores and data models to support information science and other internal clients
- Ensure that data is accurate, complete, and consistent across multiple sources
- Investigate current data technology trends to identify and evaluate key capabilities and suggest solutions
- Explore new tools and technologies to determine the best approach for our data needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data-related projects and initiatives
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and developing large-scale data pipelines and architectures
- 5+ years of experience with SQL, with a strong understanding of database design and optimization
- 5+ years of experience with Python, with a strong understanding of data processing and analysis
- Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Azure
- Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with machine learning algorithms and models
- Experience with healthcare industry data and analytics
- Certification in data engineering, data science, or related field

* Strong understanding of data engineering principles and practices
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
- Strong understanding of cloud-based platforms and services
