Job Summary:

As a Customer Service Specialist in our Government and Corporate Affairs team, you'll play a critical role in promoting and selling air travel on arenaflex, while providing exceptional customer service to our clients. You'll be responsible for preparing itineraries, computing fares, issuing refunds, and preparing and issuing tickets, as well as communicating with customers over the phone to resolve their queries and concerns. Key Responsibilities:

* Promote and sell air travel on arenaflex to government and corporate clients

  • Prepare itineraries, compute fares, issue refunds, and prepare and issue tickets
  • Answer inquiries regarding general travel information and resolve customer problems in a mutually beneficial manner
  • Communicate with customers over the phone to research passenger complaints, advise on cancelled or delayed flights, and communicate new rules, policies, and procedures that affect customers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with government and corporate clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues and improve overall customer experience

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience/training

  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and customer contact skills
  • Knowledge of Native SABRE or similar travel software
  • Ability to be resourceful and creative in problem resolution
  • High level of initiative, good judgment, and dependability
  • Satisfactory attendance required

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience in customer service, sales, or a related field

  • Knowledge of government and corporate travel policies and procedures
  • Familiarity with travel software and systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
