Temporary Remote Catastrophe (CAT) Customer Service Representative Role

As a Temporary Remote Catastrophe (CAT) Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in helping customers navigate the claim process during a difficult time. You will apply the latest customer service techniques and learn our account management systems to improve the customer experience. This is a unique opportunity to make a difference in people's lives while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a CAT Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing positive customer service and technical expertise through prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customer needs.
  • Offering empathy and support to customers during the claim process.
  • Collecting and documenting all claim details provided by the customer into the claim accurately.
  • Identifying and resolving customer issues by adhering to clients-specific handling instructions.
  • Utilizing call scripting to ensure consistency and efficiency in handling customer claims and inquiries.

Computer and Network Requirements

To ensure a seamless experience, you will need to meet the following computer and network requirements:

  • Operating System: Windows 10, Windows 11, or Windows Home.
  • Not Supported: Chromebooks, macOS, Linux, or any other operating system.
  • Network Requirements:

+ Upon hire, you must run a Speedtest from the computer you will be working from (www.speedtest.net). + Ethernet connection is not required, but strongly recommended. + You must be on a private network, not allowed to work in public locations. + No VPNs are allowed, as logins must happen in the US.

We are looking for highly motivated, energetic, and dedicated individuals who are:

  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Able to type swiftly and accurately (40+ words a minute).
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems.
  • Customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious).
  • Able to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be authorized to work in the country where the job is based.
  • Be willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test as part of the onboarding process.
  • Meet the computer and network requirements.
