Job Summary
We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Healthcare Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our revenue operations department, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical insurance collections and credits processes. Responsibilities
As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Performing duties related to revenue operations, including medical insurance collections, credits, and patient insurance coverage
- Communicating with insurance payers to ensure proper insurance coverage for our patients or to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement for dialysis services rendered at our clinics
- Responding timely and accurately to payer communications
- Collaborating with other revenue operations teams to ensure seamless processes across teams
- Partnering with clinics teammates, including Insurance counselors, social workers, and facility administrators, to ensure timely and accurate insurance information
- Identifying process changes and opportunities for continuous improvements
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of six (6) months corporate office experience
- Previous Revenue Cycle experience is preferred but not required
- Data Entry experience filling out online forms
- Savvy in navigating through the internet and provider portals
- Proper claim accounting knowledge is a big plus
- Medical billing or accounting experience is a big plus
