Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Software Engineer to join our Customer Systems team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including business leaders, application owners, designers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality results that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and implement scalable, efficient, and secure Java-based solutions for our customer systems
- Collaborate with business leaders, application owners, designers, and project managers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality results
- Work independently to identify and resolve complex technical issues, often under tight deadlines
- Develop and maintain large-scale, low-latency web applications using Java, Spring, and other relevant technologies
- Design and implement data structures, algorithms, and data access layers to optimize performance and scalability
- Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data technologies is a plus
- Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and ensure high-quality code is delivered
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and implement process improvements and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new developments in Java and related technologies
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Java development, with a focus on backend systems and architecture
- Strong understanding of Java, Spring, and related technologies
- Experience with data structures, algorithms, and data access layers
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data technologies is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication and written skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience working in a large-scale, distributed system environment
- Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban
- Strong understanding of security principles and best practices
- Experience with testing frameworks, such as JUnit or TestNG
- Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker
