Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Call Center Representative to join our team at arenaflex. As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for handling high-volume customer requests, performing data entry tasks, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. This is a full-time remote job opportunity that offers a competitive salary range of $25-$35 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize arenaflex's prescription data entry methodology and rules to process new patient enrollments by entering information into a suitable system.
- Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
- Investigate to obtain missing prescription data and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes).
- Resolve all data entry-related exceptions.
- Handle communication to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and resolve outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis.
- Resolve Third-Party Rejections by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements.
- Make phone calls to insurance providers and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve Third-Party Rejections.
- Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in different locations.
- Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic level computer skills (for example: start and shut down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between applications, save files, print documents as needed and access information online).
- Basic web browser skills to include opening a browser, typing URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
- Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
- Communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- 18 years old or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment.
- At least 1-2 years as a pharmacy technician with a certification/registration by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacies or nationally recognized certification agency.
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
