Worksite and Schedule
Our Part-Time Medical Claims Data Entry Clerk will work at our West Sacramento, CA location, specifically at 820 Stillwater Road. The schedule for this position is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. This is a temporary position from January to June 2025.
Compensation
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $19.00 per hour for this position.
Key Responsibilities
As a Part-Time Medical Claims Data Entry Clerk, you'll be responsible for:
- Working within the Data Entry Operations Team to enter source claim documents by reviewing and correcting data deficiencies
- Maintaining a production-paced work environment with a focus on precision and efficiency
- Adhering to company policy and maintaining attendance
- Delivering high-quality results consistently and meeting individual KPIs for data entered
- Maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive information
- Completing tasks within deadlines and managing time effectively
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need to bring:
- The ability to key a minimum of 9,000 keystrokes per hour while maintaining a 99% accuracy rate
- Punctuality and attendance are critical in this position
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic PC skills required
- Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently
- Microsoft Office skills, including Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word
Education and Experience
We're looking for candidates with:
- A high school education or equivalent
- Knowledge of recognition software preferred and/or other data entry systems
- 1 year of experience in data entry or related production-oriented field is preferred
