About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our Bookkeeping team, where you will play a key role in driving process improvements and ensuring accurate reporting of working costs. As a Senior GL Accountant, you will work closely with our Senior Accounting Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and monthly account reconciliations for assigned areas of the general ledger
• Be a key owner of the monthly close process for assigned regions and entities, ensuring timely and accurate completion
• Maintain financial records in accordance with US GAAP and consolidated financial statements, using accepted methodologies
• Assist with providing audit support to external auditors on annual audits and quarterly reviews
• Communicate with FP&A, operational partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters
• Conduct ad-hoc investigations and projects to drive process improvement initiatives

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with a CPA certification being a plus
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong understanding of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, and SOX/internal controls
• Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and GSuite is preferred, but not required
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong business acumen, process-oriented, and data-driven, with a high degree of attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and the ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets
