The Role

As a Remote Entry Level Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for receiving initial calls from patients and families, gathering information, and relaying it to our clinicians. This role requires strong customer care skills, attention to detail, and the ability to navigate challenging situations with ease. You will be trained and supported in processing these calls, and will have the opportunity to enhance your customer care skills while working with our team.

Key Responsibilities

* Receive initial calls from patients and families, gather information, and relay it to our clinicians

  • Process calls for patients from home hospice, home health, home infusion agencies, and medical providers across the country
  • Provide exceptional customer care and support to patients and families
  • Enhance your customer care skills while working with our team

Essential Qualifications

* 18 years of age

  • Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Accurate keyboard and typing skills (must meet minimum requirements)
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office and internet navigation
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to speak with a smile in your voice
  • Evening, weekend shifts required (Monday - Friday)
  • Access to High Speed Internet on a personal network (cannot be a shared network)
  • Personal, private, and patient-confidential workspace environment required

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous customer service experience (preferably in a healthcare setting)

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to remain professional and composed in challenging situations

Work Environment and Company Culture

* Remote work-from-home position after a two-week orientation/training in our Gilbert training center

  • Monday - Friday schedule (evening and weekend shifts required)

Compensation and Benefits
