Job Summary

The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments. The key deliverables of this role include processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles, identifying and addressing breaks recognized between arenaflex and fund companies or transfer agents, and processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions, and processing/reconciling returns activity. The specialist may also be trusted to perform analysis of complex/escalated issues, conduct testing/validation of new technology enhancements, and provider changes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identify/address breaks recognized between arenaflex and fund companies or transfer agents
  • Perform daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer tasks for Alternate Investments
  • Process Corporate Activity Activities, settle/reconcile transactions, and process/reconcile returns activity
  • Analyze complex/escalated issues and conduct testing/validation of new technology enhancements and provider changes
  • Review and analyze client/Advisor amount exceptions, regulatory commitments, and tax coding corrections
  • Reconcile breaks across BOS and Fund Companies, and review and analyze correct tax coding and corrections of tax coding
  • Provide client or business partner service, including answering business partner inquiries regarding Fund information requirements/eligibility
  • Follow up on Alternative Investment moves to expedite the client request or remediate not neat issues
  • Promptly and correctly complete client investing and dividend requests

Essential Qualifications

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to learn new systems and technologies
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred candidates will have:

  • Previous experience in data entry, finance, or a related field
  • Knowledge of financial systems and technologies, including trading platforms and software applications
  • Experience with regulatory commitments, such as 2340 and 15C3-3
  • Strong understanding of tax coding and corrections
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional support to clients and business partners
