Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Customer Service Expert at arenaflex, your responsibilities will include:

  • Handling and responding to customer inquiries: You'll be responsible for fielding customer inquiries and responding to them in a timely and effective manner.
  • Providing excellent customer service: You'll provide excellent service to our clients and their customers, through active listening and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Working with confidential customer information: You'll work with confidential customer information and treat it sensitively, in accordance with our company's data protection policies.
  • Resolving issues proactively: You'll aim to resolve issues on the first call, by being proactive and taking the initiative to resolve problems.
  • Communicating effectively with customers: You'll communicate effectively with customers, using clear and concise language to explain solutions and resolve issues.
  • De-escalating issues: You'll calmly attempt to resolve and de-escalate any issues that arise, using your problem-solving skills and communication skills to resolve problems.
  • Escalating interactions: You'll escalate interactions when necessary and appropriate, to ensure that issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
  • Tracking call-related information: You'll track all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes, to ensure that our company's performance is measured accurately.
  • Providing feedback on call issues: You'll provide feedback on call issues, to help our company improve its service and resolve problems more effectively.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

  • Ability to work remotely in a virtual team environment: You'll need to be able to work effectively in a virtual team environment, using technology to communicate and collaborate with colleagues.
  • 6 months customer service experience: You'll need to have at least 6 months of customer service experience, to be able to provide excellent service to our clients and their customers.
  • Over 18 years of age: You'll need to be at least 18 years old, to be eligible for this role.
  • Ability to type 25 wpm: You'll need to be able to type at least 25 words per minute, to be able to respond to customer inquiries quickly and effectively.
  • High School Graduate or GED: You'll need to have a high school diploma or equivalent, to be eligible for this role.
  • Comfort with desktop computer system: You'll need to be comfortable using a desktop computer system, to be able to access our company's systems and tools.
  • Proven oral and written communication skills: You'll need to have proven oral and written communication skills, to be able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Logical problem-solving skills: You'll need to have logical problem-solving skills, to be able to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to navigate Windows operating systems: You'll need to be able to navigate Windows operating systems, to be able to access our company's systems and tools.
  • Organization and work prioritization skills: You'll need to have organization and work prioritization skills, to be able to manage your workload effectively and meet deadlines.

Nice-to-haves

While the following qualifications are not essential, they would be beneficial in this role:

  • Experience working in a call center environment: You'll have experience working in a call center environment, to be able to provide excellent service to our clients and their customers.
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software: You'll have knowledge of CRM software, to be able to use our company's systems and tools effectively.
  • Certification in customer service: You'll have certification in customer service, to be able to demonstrate your expertise and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
