Job Overview

The Data Entry Specialist/Clerk will play a vital role in supporting our Manufacturing teams, focusing on streamlining production processes and ensuring accuracy in data entry. This position will be responsible for a range of tasks, including processing production orders, creating labels for Quality Control (QC) samples and bulk materials, and maintaining the accuracy of bin locations for purified and conjugated bulks. The successful candidate will also work closely with inventory controllers and planning teams to resubmit re-test samples and perform other duties as necessary.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help finish production orders and create labels for QC samples and bulk materials, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Assist with batch records, including prefilling, reviewing, verifying, and scanning/attaching, to maintain compliance with ISO requirements.
  • Collaborate with inventory controllers to identify bin locations and support planning teams in resubmitting re-test samples, promoting efficient inventory management.
  • Perform job duties in accordance with ISO requirements, following the "line of clearance" rule and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Participate in other projects or responsibilities as required, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A high school diploma plus 6 months of data entry experience, or a Biotech Certificate or Associate's degree in a science or related field.
  • Strong competency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior hands-on experience with Microsoft Navision System (NAV) or other ERP systems, demonstrating familiarity with enterprise resource planning.
  • Some laboratory experience, providing a basic understanding of manufacturing processes and familiarity with ERP systems.
