Job Summary

As an Evening Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for entering information into our AS400 system from Bills of Lading (BOLs) scanned at our service centers. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Entering BOL information into AS400 for numerous customers in a timely manner
• Identifying and correcting any errors on BOLs prior to entering the information
• Ensuring high production levels while maintaining accuracy
• Providing exceptional service to internal and external customers
• Collaborating with the data entry team to achieve shared goals and objectives

Key Responsibilities

* Enter BOL information into AS400 for numerous customers in a timely manner

• Identify and correct any errors on BOLs prior to entering the information
• Ensure high production levels while maintaining accuracy
• Provide Service 2.OD to internal and external customers
• Collaborate with the data entry team to achieve shared goals and objectives
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent

• 1 year of data entry experience, preferably in the trucking industry
• Knowledge of shipping/transportation documents
• Ability to type 50 wpm with no errors
• Proficient with AS400
• Accurate typing and spelling skills
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive work

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience working in a transportation or logistics environment

• Familiarity with AS400 and other data entry software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
