Key Responsibilities

As an Insurance Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for:

• Handling property & casualty (p&c) related customer service and/or billing inquiries and problems via the telephone
• Providing customers with plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium
• Reviewing and updating policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of the consumer
• Counseling policyholders on appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws to ensure sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance
• Making recommendations and/or changes to policies and gaining policyholder acceptance to process the changes
• Receiving and responding to calls and emails, documenting all activity in EPIC
• Utilizing knowledge of insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service
• Identifying opportunities to apply discounts, processing insurance verification forms for insured, and acting as liaison for information exchange between customer and insurance companies
• Processing changes to policies within EPIC and submitting changes to specific companies
• Reviewing policy information and referencing company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims
• Mailing insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner
• Recognizing cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtaining quote information
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements

To succeed as an Insurance Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you'll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment
• Property and Casualty insurance license required
• Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
