Job Summary

We're seeking experienced Customer Service Representatives to join our Inbound Call Center team in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. As a CSR, you'll be responsible for handling incoming telephone requests, providing technical and emergency damage prevention services, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. This is a permanent full-time position with opportunities for career growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

* Answer inbound calls from excavators, homeowners, and facility operators, following scripted questions to gather information about their work sites

• Obtain and enter accurate information into a ticket format, utilizing a mapping system similar to Google Maps
• Identify work sites on digital maps, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Provide excellent customer service, creating positive relationships with callers, peers, and management
• Process information quickly and accurately, adhering to outlined criteria
• Demonstrate an interest in public safety and apply new concepts to ensure the safe excavation of underground utilities

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to listen and problem-solve effectively
• General computer skills, including proficiency in data entry and mapping systems
• Ability to work effectively and independently in a home or office environment
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a willingness to work overtime based on business needs
• Availability to work during operating hours of the call center
• Must pass a criminal background check

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior experience in customer service or a related field

• Familiarity with mapping systems and data entry software
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Bilingual or multilingual skills (optional)
