Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to content and external teams regarding the use of content tools, ensuring timely resolution of issues and seamless workflow execution
  • Create comprehensive reference materials and deliver training sessions to get external teams up to speed with our toolset, promoting efficiency and adoption
  • Solve and debug possible issues with tools and workflows, escalating complex problems to the tool development team and collaborating with production to track issues in JIRA
  • Advocate for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Partner with other engineers to develop tools and processes that enhance efficiency, quality, and user experience, driving business growth and success
  • Guide or lead cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive feature development from initial concept to completion, ensuring that our tools and workflows meet the evolving needs of our content teams
  • Exemplify reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions, maintaining the highest standards of communication, collaboration, and customer service

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience, demonstrating a solid foundation in programming principles, software development, and technical support
  • Experience supporting a live service or tool environment, with a strong understanding of content creation workflows, tool development, and technical support principles
  • Unity 3D game and tool development experience, with a good understanding of C# code and software development methodologies
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other defect-tracking software, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests simultaneously
  • iOS and Android mobile development experience, with a strong understanding of mobile app development, deployment, and maintenance
  • 5 years of experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment, with a proven track record of collaboration, innovation, and technical expertise
