Job Summary

As an Experienced Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry & Customer Service (2nd Shift) On-Site Full Time, you will play a vital role in our closed-door pharmacy, working alongside a supportive team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure accurate medication dispensing. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing order entry tasks and collaborating with other team members in the medication dispensing process
  • Triaging customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
  • Calculating and/or verifying correct dosage based on prescriptions
  • Assisting in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
  • Providing dispensing pharmacist with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
  • Creating and maintaining accurate customer records

arenaflex's Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, provides care to those in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings. Although our pharmacies are not open to the public, you'll work amongst great colleagues in a supportive environment aligned with the company's mission, allowing our customers to focus on giving their patients the best care.

Required Qualifications

* Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law

  • One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician
  • Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

* Prior experience in the long-term care industry

  • PTCB National Certification

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic math skills and ability to calculate dosages
  • Familiarity with pharmacy software and technology

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $28.46. In addition to your compensation, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including:
