Job Responsibilities:

As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Providing exceptional customer service to patients and customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Processing transactions, including registering sales, collecting cash, and dispensing change
• Maintaining accurate records, including patient and medication data, and processing voids, returns, and exchanges
• Assisting pharmacists with tasks, such as entering patient and medication data, filling prescriptions, and checking for potential interactions
• Reporting and resolving remedy mistakes, adhering to organization strategies and methods
• Handling calls, including those to doctors, and processing manual cases for external program remedy services
• Supporting the pharmacy division with stock administration tasks, including requesting, unloading, checking, and storing shipments of medications
• Maintaining knowledge of organization resource security methods and recording claims for distribution center overages, deficiencies, and request errors
• Ensuring compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled substances
• Building and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, and special designs
• Assisting with the division of food items and product placement, adhering to strategies and methods
• Providing customer support in the photo area, including digital identification photo services, banner print, and creative machine
• Taking on web pick-up responsibilities, including screening orders and processing requests
• Supporting outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a clean, neat, and organized store environment and appearance
• Adhering to all organization policies and procedures, maintaining respectful relationships with colleagues
• Completing special tasks and other assignments as allocated

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing situations and priorities
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in data entry and computer skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekend hours
• Familiarity with pharmacy operations and procedures
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy practices
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications:

* 6 months of experience in a retail environment

• Previous work experience with arenaflex
• Excellent numerical skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing prescriptions
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of store stock control
• PTCB certification
