Your Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry and Verification:

Enter and update provider credentialing information in the system with accuracy, verifying licensure, certifications, education, and work history for healthcare providers.

Compliance and Regulatory Management:

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations, tracking credentialing and re-credentialing deadlines, and submitting documents in a timely manner.

Communication and Collaboration:

Communicate with providers, insurance companies, and regulatory agencies to obtain required documentation, and assist in audits and quality checks to ensure data integrity.

Reporting and Analysis:

Generate reports related to credentialing status and compliance, and maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive provider information.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and contribute to process improvements and quality enhancements.

Essential Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in credentialing, healthcare administration, or data entry preferred.

Credentialing Knowledge:

Familiarity with credentialing databases and healthcare compliance standards.

Technical Skills:

Strong typing and data entry skills with high accuracy, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Soft Skills:

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external agencies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced Education:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration or business.

Industry Certifications:

Certifications in credentialing, such as the Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) or the Certified Healthcare Administrator (CHA).

Language Skills:

Proficiency in multiple languages, particularly those commonly spoken in the healthcare industry.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Rate Range:

$22.00- $24.00 per hour, with compensation varying depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.
