Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming phone calls from healthcare providers (i.e. physician offices, clinics) and identifying the type of assistance they need (e.g. benefit and eligibility, billing and payments, authorizations for treatment, explanation of benefits).
  • Focusing on resolving issues on the first call, navigating through complex computer systems to identify the status of the issue and provide an appropriate response to the caller.
  • Delivering information and answering questions in a positive manner to facilitate strong relationships with providers and their staff.
  • Completing the documentation necessary to track provider issues and facilitate the reporting of overall trends.
  • Interacting with providers with the intent to develop a relationship with them, while managing a high volume of calls and developing knowledge of various products and benefits.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must live within 30 miles of Las Vegas, NV.
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevant information, build rapport, and respond to customers in a compassionate manner.
  • Skilled in problem-solving to quickly assess the current state and formulate recommendations.
  • Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM from Monday - Friday.

Nice-to-haves

While not required, having the following experience and skills will make you a strong candidate for this role:

  • 1+ year of experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools.
  • Prior healthcare experience.
