Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote LTC Pharmacy Data Entry Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of prescription orders and medical records. Responsibilities:
As a Remote LTC Pharmacy Data Entry Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Contacting physician's offices as needed for refill authorization
- Verifying orders with clients as needed
- Processing new and refill prescriptions with precision and attention to detail
- Opening orders, verifying eligibility, and inputting prescriptions while maintaining productivity and quality standards
- Documenting correspondence and follow-up in our system
- Preparing audit sheets and providing feedback to your manager
- Forwarding incomplete or rejected scripts to the appropriate department for resolution and tracking status in the system
- Initiating and documenting correspondence and follow-up in our system
- Assisting with research of lost or missing orders as requested by internal departments
- Providing backup support to other pharmacy groups based on business needs or production levels
- Answering incoming calls promptly and providing exceptional customer service to our clients
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess:
- A High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- A Pharmacy Technician license and Certification (CPhT) as per state requirements
- Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred
- Frameworks and Docutrack experience preferred
- The ability to work in a flexible schedule as operational needs dictate, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
* Pharmacy data entry experience; minimum one year
- Strong knowledge of Brand/Generic drugs and medical terminology

Compensation:
The salary range for this position reflects the anticipated compensation based on experience and qualifications and may vary depending on the specific role and candidate profile. $15.10 - $20.63
